Doreen Stalker was an amazing person. She supported people living with hepatitis C in a deeply respectful way: she never judged, she accepted people for who they were, she helped so many people who were living in isolation because of stigma and fear. She educated doctors and other health care workers, and her community and she stood with those experiencing the most challenging addiction and mental health issues.
For years Doreen made sure a regular Hepatitis C Newsletter was sent to contacts around the province. People from all over know of Doreen’s commitment and incredible spirit.
She is sorely missed, greatly appreciated and always loved.
